Im down to these two choices . I've evaluated the pros and cons of both and I would like to see your(AT) opinions as well as if you were in my shoes which would you choose.
1994 Honda Civic EX
1994 Infiniti G20
Price:
Both are priced nearly identically
Reliability:
Not much needed to be said here, everyone knows of Honda excellent reliability, and I think the same goes for Infiniti
Performance:
Based on the numberson paper(havent driven an inifiniti yet) the Inifiniti seems to have a slight edge(has tons more torque compared to the civic)
Gas:
No doubt about it civic wins this one.
Insurance:
The insurance should be slightly higher, but not much since theyre both relatively old cars.
Mainitenance:
This is the main issue Im concerned about. Are inifiniti parts much more expensive compared to the equilivent honda parts. What I mean is that i have several friends who have other luxury cars(lexus, MB) and they say it cost quite a bit of money to fix if something goes wrong, when it rarely does. Is this the case. I mean I dont want to pay $900 for a new clutch or something like that when it could cost $300.
So what does everyone think? Which would they choose? Have I missed something in the analysis?
thanks for everyone response.
