Hmmmmmm....they will only do "Ship to store" and then every store I choose says "UNAVAILABLE".

Anyone get it to successfully ship to their store or have it available for pick up?

It's avaiable here; but I rather pick up the game of year copy which actually has more game content for $15.

As far as I can tell this is the original game with a few figures and such thrown in the box. Hum. Decision.

Special edition has:

5 metal figurines based on units from Civilization V, manufactured by Reaper Miniatures
2-disc CD soundtrack of game score selections
DVD “Behind-the-Scenes at Firaxis on Civilization V
176-page hardcover art book

I'd be interested in the book and music. Not sure if it's worth $15 though. The rest is just clutter IMHO.

Pretty much, I hope the Steam sale will provide better value.

I bought it off Steam for about $20 if I remember right. Played about 140 hours, but I'm a Civ fan extreme. Heck, I still play Civ IV (best one). I even own Civ Rev for each console, bought on release day. That's saying something. :)

I'd be surprised if we didn't see a Civ V deal on Steam this holiday season.
