Civ5 and CivBE are painfully slow between turns... it makes each turn a painful experience. :'(
I'm running an i5 3470 and R9-270 video card.
So... what's going to speed up the time between turns? Is it a multi-core game that'll benefit from 8-12 threaded processors? Or is it only using 1-2 cores and most benefits from sheer speed? Somehow I doubt video cards will benefit, though they should have programmed it to use CUDA, etc, to speed up processing times!
I like the game but get darned near sleepy with the slowness of it... I'll stick to Civ4's snappy performance until I can figure out how to improve turn speeds!
