Just bought city of heroes game. Well, I have one question. Is there a way to play it before signing up for the first month free? I was hoping to build a character up before starting my free month online. If theres a way please let me know. Im holding off registering online until I can find out. Thanks!!!

Can you continue playing it if you don't pay? Not online of course. Or does it require a monthy fee even if you don't play online.

the point of it being an rpg is having to build up your character, why would they let you build it up really well before they started charging? if you could do that then no one would pay subscriptions, they would build up a bad ass character then use up their free month getting the best stuff then selling it.

Ok that makes sense. I don't play many games at all, so never gave the process any thought. Im a noob in the gaming area. However, I assume that once the month is up, you can still play the game locally (without going online/multiplayer) without paying right? If not I just wasted $50.

Uhh no... and if it's fun, how is it a waste of money? It's not like $12.99 or whatever they charge is going to break anyone.
