Citrix xenapp showing launch.ica

i am trying to use citrix xenapp on my ubuntu pc. I am then directed to download a plug in called linuxx86. i download it and install it converting it from tar.gz to deb. from there i log in and click remote desktop. i am prompted to download a launch.ica file... what do i do next.

Do you have citrix receiver for linux installed? If it's installed it should automatically open the .ica file and launch the app.
