Citizen Kane-A Leader?

Today in my management class, our prof started using citizen kane as an example of leadership and motivation. Some of her information was like him and his company bla bla. It's been 3yrs since I saw the movie, but what real proof was there in that movie that he was a leader and motivator? I may be ignorant or just forgetting everything, but I only remember him heading that company and stuff.

That's really funny. Orsen Wells created Citizen Kane as a condemnation of William Randolph Hearst. It's the story of a man who paved his way to hell with supposedly good intentions (although they were ultimately self-serving). He was a powerful man, and even ran for office, but I would never have thought of him as a leader.

Edit: Unless you're talking Enron-style leadership.

ya me neither.... the movie bored me to death and the only thing that came out of it that I remember well 3 yrs later was his stupid sleigh rosebud.

Seriously, tell your teacher she needs to actually watch the movie, instead of putting it on in lieu of teaching.
