Seems ok. Not great but not horrible.

I know it has mixed reviews right now. Mainly because of performance.

No, not yet at least. The game is too addictive and there are too many problems with it right now, it's still in beta got to wait like a year for them to finish it
 
I was interested but every week since release more bugs show up on top of the performance issues with mega gpu usage due to the modeling of the citizens in game. There are some hilarious traffic jam clips out there though on the sub reddit.
