Pensions in the future should be on the table. Pensions already agreed to is a contract that was honored.

All contracts can be changed. A ridiculous contract must be. There is no fairness is a person having to pay for that they had no control over when the contract was made. Specifically, many public pensions will be funded by those not of voting age who find themselves being forcibly given an onus to pay for others who voted that the youth would pay for their retirement.

A person agrees to do a job for a set payment. The payment may be less because of a contract to pay the difference in the future.
The job is done; payments are expected.

The problem with labor isthere is no way to take back ones work if they are not paid as agreed on.
