Citibank credit cards overseas - high conversion rates

BEWARE!! I was in London a few weeks ago and charged things on both a Citibank MC and a MBNA Visa and the conversion rates between the two were like night and day, with Citibank being no better than those con artists at the airport exchange booths. Apparently, Citibank feels entitled to additional fees, whereas MBNA gives you a good rate. FYI.
