"Several sources confirmed the introduction of a new 3G iPhone during [the second calendar quarter]," analyst Rich Garder wrote in an industry news flash bulletin distributed to clients on Tuesday. "While iPhone and iPod units may disappoint again during [the first calendar quarter], we remain comfortable with our above-consensus EPS estimate thanks to solid PC momentum and sharp declines in DRAM and NAND pricing."

My wallet is waiting for the 32gb 3G release :D

hmm...today's updates arrive in 3 months. A good indicator of an updated 3G iPhone with them already installed? I hope so.

I wonder if they're going to release a 32gb model at launch. It will be about 6 months from the release of the 16gb, plus having the extra space for apps would be great.

Especially with all the new apps coming out. I bet those EA games are going to be pretty huge! Plus encoded movies take up a bunch of space and are great for long trips, especially airplane rides. 32gb + 3G would be enough to make me upgrade from my current 8gb model :)

Agreed, that is what I would need as well.

I've been a pretty solid Windows Mobile user for the past 6 years... I have to say, adding Exchange Activesync is making me eye the iPhone a little closer.

I still don't like the keyboard, but I'm very mad that WM manufacturers have ditched large screens. If I still had my PPC-6600 that had a 3.5" screen with keyboard I would be a happy man...

The 3G iPhone will make me look a little closer but there's no 3G AT&T service in my home area. I'd like to see how the app store works out as well...

Still a lot of piece of the jigsaw left for Apple to do, but much closer to a finished puzzle...

I just got AT&T< service is decent out here, got an Ericsson phone. With the price cuts announced, I don't know if I should get an iPhone now or wait till June for the 3G version. Anyone know when the cuts are supposed to take effect? $400 for a 16 gig sounds gooooooood to me.
