I get similar with my MBNA World Points card. I get credits for grocery, restaurant, travel, etc. I went to the grocery store the other day and got ~$4.00 back on a ~$40 receipt! I don't have to do anything either; they just credit my account.

Having a quality credit card is a good thing if you use it responsibly.

Woah! I have that card too. Any special stores that gives you the 10% off?

these point programs confuses me. I rather have cash back than earn these points which I have to redeem at certain places.

Just got my Citi Dividend last week. Time to put it to good use and buy all of my groceries/gas and pay bills with it. :D

I don't think so. I went to a local coffee shop the other day and got back ~$0.50! I couldn't actually find any documentation on these credits on MBNA's site (I might look again), so I don't know how it's established.

I also got several dollars of credit for going to restaurants like Carrabba's, Olive Garden, etc. I will save a lot of money over the year!

I got my citi dividend card last week just before my Labor Day vacation. It was great at the pumps and the grocery stores.

I thought you could only get a cashback check every $100 earned?

That's what I thought too. But apparently they changed to $50.

I think it is, I'm a new MBNA customer.

In fact I think I have a pre-approval SPAM at home.

I'll probably wait until I get home and will respond to that offer.
