I think I'll just convert my gas purchases over to AMEX green cash rebate.

The only reason I used the Citi bank was to get 5% right out of the gate.

So, now I'll have to wait a month to get 5%.

I wonder if they'll let me get another AMEX green that I can use once my yearly charges go over $50K?

FYI, the chase card I applied for was in fact the Chase Cash Plus Rewards, sneak into the program while you still can

Any idea if/when they'll stop the 5%?

This sucks...I just convinced my friend to get a credit card (her first) and raved about Citi's 5% rewards. Damn.

Is it confirmed that they will, or is this just assumed since everyone else is? I'd agree that it's probably only a matter of time though. Cards like the AMEX Blue Cash which does 5% after a spending requirement should stay the same though.

They took the card off their website, but up to the present they've "grandfathered" current cardholders into the program. Hell, even if they decide to end it, if you use the link I provided in this thread, you still get a $50 signup bonus.

Excellent, thank you for that
