Cisco VPN Install Problem

When I install Cisco VPN 4.8 I get the following error msg within the Cisco Virtual Adapter Installer "Updatedriverfor plugandplaydevices error: access denied.

Has anyone seen this before? When I uninstall Cisco after having the failed install, I lose my ability to browse servers within a couple minutes. I have to reboot to enable browsing again but it only last about 1 or 2 minutes.

WinXP Pro SP2
Motorola SB5120
Asus A7N8X Deluxe with Nvidia and 3Com ethernet ports
No router or splitters in use.

Download a fresh copy of 4.8, or try a different version.
Could be corrupted image or imcompatibility.

I found another source and downloaded and when I installed, I received the same error msg.

Even though 4.8 addresses some volunerability issues, we're still running earlier version due to imcompability issue w/ Windows...I don't have the details as this is our Desktop team's territory.
Try a different version or computer.
Also, always download from Cisco.com instead of using 3rd party's site...the whole purpose of using VPN is to have a secure network after all.

We're running 4.8 with no problems on Windows XP SP2 machines.
