I have a Cisco 3500 xl 48-port series switch, after it boots up, I issue the "show run" command. The fast ethernet ports do not show up, only the Gigabit ethernet ports. I also noticed the following when it was booting up:
GDS RA POST: RAM Failed Address line test
Del Mar Failure (3rd Del Mar): Failed Address RAM Table POST
C3500XL POST FAILURE: Failed Address RAM Table POST
C3500XL POST FAILURE: Ethernet Controller Test: Failed
C3500XL POST FAILURE: Failed Address RAM Table POST
C3500XL POST FAILURE: MII Test: Failed
C3500XL POST FAILURE: Error waiting for Ethernet Controller and SW_PARAMS
C3500XL POST FAILURE: Initialization/POST failed
C3500XL POST FAILURE: AT: Failing because system POST failed
Could there be something wrong internally? Could there be a command issued that would not let the fast ethernet ports show up?
Thanks
