cisco simulators and best way to learn the stuff...

I'm working on finishing my bachelors in computer networking and I've been looking into getting more knowledgeable with cisco stuff. I got an exam prep book a long time ago but now I have recently found some sites that provide cisco simulators and stuff. Some of it is free and other stuff cost $

I just wanted to see if anyone knows of any really good sites out there that let you get the most experience with cisco systems

thanks

Packet tracer is also very helpful and can do a lot more with a lot less. It's made by Cisco for the CCNA track. While GNS can emulate, PT does a good enough job for CCNA type work. It also allows you to have tons of routers, switches, servers, pcs, etc. hooked up on one screen without oodles of equipment. GNS is pretty taxing on resources, so running more than 3-4 routers on a single box is pushing it.

Check with your school if they have PT available. It's usually reserved to Cisco Net Academy students, but they may have a copy of it available (or you can try to find it yourself).

Packet Tracer is an amazing Emulator, and I would definitely check it out if you're trying to going the Cisco route, even if you wanted to brush up on CLI syntax.
