Cisco NAC Agent and Windows 7

Hi, I'm trying to use my Windows 7 RTM computer on a university network. The network employs Cisco NAC Agent (Used to be called Clean Access) to allow access to the network.

With a previous version of Clean Access I was able to get on with Windows 7 RC. However, now the login window will never come up with Windows 7 RTM and a new version of the software now termed Cisco NAC Agent.

Was wondering first, where on the internet would be the best place to ask about this problem.

I've tried installing and running in Vista compatibility mode. Talked to some IT staff, and they said Windows 7 isn't released yet, and it would require months of testing after the October release date. I'd like to use Windows 7 now though. Maybe there are some tricks to get it to run properly.

Most importantly is a more appropriate forum to ask this question in.

Any help?
Thanks.

Start with asking the university helpdesk, they should be providing support for it. If they "don't support win7" tell them they have a month left to figure it out and to stop taking the easy way out.

I?m facing the same problem in my corporate network. Cisco engineer opened a case on Cisco and I?m still waiting the reply. Till getting the reply, they bypassed my Mac address from the Cisco check system

I'm running Cisco Clean Access Agent 4.1.10.0 on Windows 7 without a problem. It runs when I log onto a Cisco Any Connect VPN Client. The only property change I made was to select "run as administrator." I do not have it in compatibility mode. I hope this helps you.
