Cisco IP phones

I've recently been given the opportunity to get a Cisco VoIP phone at a pretty good price, and I'm wondering if it would be of any use to me if I were to get a consumer-level VoIP service (Vonage, Sunrocket, etc.). I'm using Comcast HSI piped through a Linksys BEFSR41 router, if that makes any difference.

It'd be one of these units. They look better than most phones and have some really advanced features even in the basic models. But would I need an enterprise-level VoIP system to utilize them?

Thanks.

about 99.999999999% of Cisco crap is proprietary and not interoperable with anything. they do that on porpoise

but i have no idea what the answer to the actual OP question is.

Most will work with asterisk(open source VoIP server).

Cisco stuff however will not work with Vonage.
