Cisco- Difference between Network Module (NM) slots and High Density Service Module (HDSM)-capable slots?

I'm just trying to determine how many slots a 37xx router has, and Cisco's site came back with:

Two (Cisco 3725) or four (Cisco 3745) Network Module (NM) slots
One (Cisco 3725) or two (Cisco 3745) High Density Service Module (HDSM)-capable slots

Just trying to see how many possible T1's, T3's, and 10/100 connections it can have.

May I suggest you check out the Cisco dynamic configurator page? You can find it here.
With this very handy tool, you can spec out Cisco's products and check whether or not its valid. Very handy if you do a lot of Cisco related ordering...
