Does anyone know the difference between "bypass static" and "rule action no-cache pattern-list"
config docs don't explain much.

It seems to me both tell the content engine not to cache the specified URL.

they both perform the same function, but the rule action is much more granular.

with the bypass static, your limited to {clientip | any-client} {serverip | any-server} options. no use of a pattern-list like with the rule action.

also, cisco recommends not exceeding 50 bypass list entries for any single CE...

i would say the bypass static is more quick and dirty...stick with rule actions if you can.
