Cisco is retiring the Routing exam (640-603) for the CCNP track and replacing it with the BSCI exam that is required for the CCIP track. Here is the link that explains in more detail. The retirement of this exam comes as somewhat of a surprise to me as it was only recently updated. For those of you that were planning to take the exam soon, schedule by tomorrow! You have until October 25 to take the exam, but you MUST schedule by tomorrow.

Passed it last month but I have some friends who will be interested.

Thanks for the info.

There is only a couple of hours left to schedule for the Cisco CCNP Routing exam. If you schedule today, then you can take the exam in October. The replacement exam (BSCI) covers more information and is presumably harder.

I did the 900 test, it's not that bad. Lots of ISIS (first 24 questions for me) and OSPF (second 22 questions for me), some BGP,some UGLY EIGRP, some Topology/Protocols, some OSI models, some "Straight-through or crossover cable?" .....

If you know it, you know it.

If you crammed for it, well, cram again ...

A little extra knowledge isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Good Luck
