Cisco 806 Cable/DSL router

is this thing any good? What would be the benefits of it as opposed to another type of cable/dsl router. I have the opportunity to get it cheap as a part of the Cisco Networking Academy (a class at my high school) but don't know if its worth that much money when it'll give me nothing new, just a way to practice labs at home.
 
I have this router, also bought it through the Academy's special price.

I love the thing. If you just want to setup your home, get a cheapie consumer level router. If you are serious about learning some IOS and to practice at home, this thing rocks. The Cisco router keeps my DSL connection "alive" constant, better than any of my friends with their consumer level stuff.
