Cisco 2811 help with 2xT1 on vwic v2

We've got a 2811 with two WIC-1DSU-T1-V2. Getting up-down connection. Somebody said that the IOS version won't support bonding 2 T1s with the V2 and that we would need the V1 instead. It's IOS version 12311T.

We'd rather not get V1 cards. What IOS version would we need to get it working with the V2s?

as long as you're at a minimum 12.3(1)T you should be good. if otherwise, it's news to me.

remote side set for MLPPP, all configurations look good?

paste the output of sho ppp multilink and sho ip int br

debug commands show anything of use?

debug ppp negotiation
debug ppp multilink
debug ppp error
debug ppp packet

if nothing else, upgrade your IOS for shits and giggles...cant hurt.

edit: as a side, we use VWIC-2MFT-T1's in all our 2811 running MLPPP with 0 issues.

In contrary to what you were told, I know the T1 WIC's need to be V2 to be compoatible on the 2800's.
Not sure about the VWIC's...I'd say it's the same.

+1 V2 VWICs here, unless you got a hold of a rogue one produced in China. I'm not 100% sure those have hit the market yet, but just about every other VWIC has been cloned. Some work fine, others don't -- unfortunately, you may never know either way until it dies or you try to smartnet it.

PPP Multilink can be a fickle monster too -- what kind and how much traffic are you running across the bundle? The configuration of the bundle can vary widely based on the services rendered across the link; however, it shouldn't be flapping. Have you ruled out the local loops yet?

Can someone look over this config for me and see if anything is glaring?

while 4470 is the mtu for frame relay media, i thought it had to be set far less on actual t1 interfaces. ive seen it on atm, hssi, t3, oc3...never t1.

other than that, all your interface / multilink commands look good.
