OK,
I recently bought a Cisco 2525 router and i need a second serial Interface card and i was wondering if i could use a Smart serial IF card from a 2600 series router in my 2525 because i cannot find a thing for this speific router.

Thanks.

I would like to have 2 serial IFs and a BRI port. I bought the router off ebay for $27 and i just am gonna use it for CCNA practice and Im planning on setting up my house with it (Just for laughs) and i just cant find any IF card that say they are compatiable with the 2525

hmnn..
I applaud the direction you're taking, but don't have a real solution for you. 1600s can be had dirt cheap if you wanted to try sourcing a few of those for experimentation purposes. There is also a fairly complete emulator if you're able to get your hands on IOS binary images. Google for 'cisco 7200 emulator' and you'll stumble on it real quick.

You might try calling a few ISPs in your area to see if they have any aging 2500s on their shelves that are out of production that you can purchase inexpensively to learn on. I've done that in a pinch in the past when servicing old gear and needing parts ASAP, landed quite a few spare parts back in the day like that.

Good luck either way, a CCNA with hands-on experience (even if it's a 2500 at home) is getting increasingly rarer.
