Cisco 2503 and 2513- can I use one of these with a cable modem?

I have 2 routers, I got them to use for lab work next quarter. Can I hook one of these up to a cable modem and have it function as a router? TIA

You can, but it would be worhless and hinder the performance of your broadband.
