CIS printer systems, anyone own one?

I have a Canon ip4000, I run through probably a set of inks every 2 weeks, sometimes 1 week. I've been using ink carts from Swiftink with zero problems, and the price is good. I'm looking around at CIS systems, found a couple brands that offer setups for Canons, but no real reviews. I don't want to drop almost 200 bucks on something that won't work, or doesn't last. Anyone own one, or have hands on with a certain brand?

I installed one from here for my dad back around 2001. I put it on an Epson Stylus 875DC and it's been running flawlessly ever since. He doesn't print a whole lot all the time, but after a family event or vacation he'll give the printer a work out and print out a couple hundred pictures at a time. He takes good care of the system I set up for him, keeps the printer and ink bottles covered to keep dust off them and he'll print something at least once a month to keep stuff from drying out. I think he's only on his 3rd or 4th set of ink. (6oz bottles I think)
