my gf just goes gaga for it. going to the "la nouba" one in disney world (it's about 2.5hrs north of where im at now) orlando. will i like it? we've watched like one on TV and it was alright...is it 10x better in person?

*UPDATE*: well, spank my ass and call me charlie...i LOVED it. absolutely positively amazing. i sat in ROW D and couldn't believe how close we actually were to the stage and performers. I'd HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who'd like to go or has a GF that would like to go. it's great. worth the money, imo.

I fell asleep during one my wife got tickets to in Vegas. Can't imagine I'll ever spend my money on their shows. Just not my thing.

It's not so much overrated as it is outrageously overpriced.

I took my girlfriend to see Mystere in Vegas a few months ago and I liked it. They do some pretty awesome things here and there with a little bit of comedy thrown in as well.

You should find at least some of it entertaining I would think.

We saw La Nouba at Disney and it was really cool if you like that sort of thing. It's like a circus on some major steroids.

yip, i would love to go to one but not at the prices they want for a ticket. I konw their overhead cost are enormous but i still cant justify spending that kind of money for a show.

I just got back from a weekend in Disney and saw the show. It was incredible. My wife loved it, but I think it was a bit overpriced. Some of the stunts will leave your mouth open, but for the most part, it's nothing you haven't seen before.

Been several times, really liked one show and wasn't very impressed with the other but I didn't totally hate it. Either way it's good points with the woman.

I saw it when I was like 10 and hated it so much. It was around the same time my mom made me go with her to some musical involving Aba songs and some fin dumb story about a girl falling in love or something... I made a repressed it into my subconsious.

My better half has had me pay to take her to 3 shows thus far. The troop pitches a tent in town about every other year (in fact, they'll be back again this coming spring). The first one we saw, Saltimbanco, was actually awesome. I loved it. The whole thing was like this trippy European circus and the acrobatics were astounding. The following 2 we saw, Drallion and some other, I thought were terrible, getting worse each time, the last one with virtually no acrobatics at all nor any real "circus" feel to it (more like a whacked off-Broadway musical). If that's the artistic direction they want to take, that's their business, but I'm not going back anytime soon.

Mystere is OK but overpriced and the upkeep looked sorta ghetto the last time I was there (torn costumes). Can't recommend it for the money they charge these days. O at Bellagio is a shameful waste of money. More excitement watching an Olympic swimming try out.

I'm thinking of taking my GF there for her Birthday... We'll see how that goes.
