How is this any different than say 'Geek Squad' charging to update your PC?

Yes, both are rip offs
It isn't a rip off if you don't know how to do it. If someone pays a shop to change their car's oil but I change mine in 20 minutes, is that a rip off? No, it is someone paying someone else to do something they know how to do. Goddamn dumbasses

Whoa whoa, lets check that hostility, mmkay? Nothing to get worked up about, but in my book, $60/hour for doing a Windows Update is a capital Rip Off.
Do you know how to replace brake pads or blown struts on a car? Do you consider paying more than $60/hr for someone to do that for you a rip off?

Just because you feel comfortable doing something and would never pay money for it doesn't mean other people feel the same. You and others crying "ripoff" need to keep sh!t in perspective.

Q: What is Xbox backward compatibility?

A: Xbox® backward compatibility enables original Xbox® games on the compatibility list to be played on your Xbox 360? console. Backward compatibility requires the Xbox 360 Hard Drive.

Q: What does it cost and how do I get it?

A: There is no additional cost. Like all Xbox 360 system software, backwards compatibility is updated from time to time. These updates are released through Xbox Live® and can also be obtained in other ways described here. You must install the latest update to be able to play every game on the compatibility list, and to play original Xbox games on Xbox Live.

Usually when you buy computer games they are 5-10 bucks cheaper than the price on the box.

I don't know if they don't update the stickers... but I like that...

still CC > BB
