IIRC CC has a 14 day "No questions asked", "no hassle" return policy, you're right.

Just return it... otherwise that small issue will bother you as long as you own the camera.

I think they extended it from 14 days to 30 days had to return something the other day went very smooth no questions asked.

Ausm

14 on Computers, 30 on non-computers. Digicam is considered a computer part therefore 14 days.

They DO scan the Serial # on things like Xbox, PS2, Cameras, laptops, etc. Therefore you WILL have a hard time doing this unless you switch the stickers which would get yourself into a huge mess if they caught on

This is why the RIAA is up every Downloader's a$$ right now.
Ignore people who tell you to go against your instincts amd moral lessons imparted by parents and family.
They are morally bankrupt and no one cares when they get slammed by "the Man".
Obviously they do not care if they contribute to the downfall of civilization as we know it.

Anything other than "massive company can afford a fraudulent exchange every now and then" and "I want it now" as a reason for doing it that way?

<working for Truth, Justice and The American Way..... which are not mutually exclusive qualities, BTW!

Ummm we, the consumer, ends up getting it up the a$$ if you do this.

Sony will look at the product identification # on the box and the PIN on the camera itself, and when htey realize that they don't match, they will not reimburse CC.

I'm wondering if anyone has alerted the Circuit City's, Best Buy's, etc....in your area of what your intentions are.

Now that I think about it, a detective I know just transfered down there. I'm sure he could escort you to the store if you need a ride.
