Unfortunately, the reviews on the site don't provide much insight on the player.

I searched the 'net for reviews on this Kaser MP3 player, and it was a uninamous "sucks" rating. Sound quality was compared to a clock radio, along with numerous other complaints. That's too bad, as it's a great price for an expandable 64MB player (can take up to a 128mb smartmedia card).

If this is true then deal is pretty lukewarm IMO. I think most people who would buy a mp3 palyer care about how it sounds.

the kaser player suck! gave it to my 5 year old for car trips and he seems to appreciate it, but that's about what it's good for!

Okay, I think I'll pass. I'd like to think I'm a little more discerning than a 5-year old. :D

I bought one (MP3 player). I figured what the hell.

Sound, ya it does suck. But for a $30 expandable MP3 player, something has to.

64MB doesn't hold much when you have secure rips using EAC and LAME. Maybe one CD.

I do like the fact that it uses SM cards, I have them for my camera.

Worth $30, for a first MP3 player.

oh, don't get the northwestern phone. the 2.4 ghz phone is very uncomfortable to hold to my ear. neither does it look cool.
but hey, if you're going for something cheap, i guess it does work, and hold a charge for at least a little bit

I just picked up a "digital camera starter kit" for $9.99 (normally $19.99). I believe it was rayovac brand. Kit includes:

- Camera Bag (good size, good pockets, etc)
- 4 NiMH AA batteries (1600 mAH)
- AA charger (fairly low quality)
- Mini tripod (about 4" high, kind of funny looking, but may be useful)

The bag and the batteries are well worth the $10 price, I think.

Any idea at all on what models of Car CD player there are? I need a really cheap one for my car, but one that isn't completely worthless. And does it mention anything about installation? :D
