Are they somewhat bargainable? I'm about to buy some high priced items from there and would like a discount. It's going to be the Samsung 61" DLP, Samsung DVD player, and a home theatre speaker setup w/receiver. Anyone ever tried it and was it successful?

With anything over $500, I'd say its reasonable. Make sure to check all the prices before you leave. So lets say total cost at Circuit City is $100 and at Fry's its $90. Take it to Circuit City and tell them to beat it by 10% or 15%, whatever you feel comfortable with and they should do it.

CC is, especially if you buy an extended warranty.

A friend of mine bought a Toshiba DirecTV receiver for a good price.

It retailed for $149, was on sale for $129 they had an "extended warranty" competition going on. So he bought a 2 year replacement plan for $19.99 and the sales guy knocked the price down to $99.99

So in the end he saved $10 off the sale price AND got a free 2 year extended warranty :)

Typically if you buy service, most places will give you something off. Just don't be a dick about it and you might get something. Some TVS have a HUGE markup. Plasma TVs are marked up 100%...

There really isn't a reason not to, if the sales associate won't knock it down any, I would come back another day and hopefully somebody else will be working. Other than that, those samsung DLP's are the best tv screens I have EVER seen. The picture is so clear and vivid. Either way, congrats on your purchase and enjoy it. It's gonna be awesome.
