First of all, YMMV. This was news to me when we pulled them out on the floor this evening after close to prepare for tomorrow, but this is basically how it works:

We have a lot of games we're selling for $9.99.

These aren't trashy games either, we're talking stuff like...

Ridge Racer for DS
BloodRayne2 for PS2/XBox
Tekken 4 for PS2
Gran Turismo 3 for PS2
Project: Snowblind for PS2/XBox

... I could go on. There's a King of Fighters game, SNK vs Capcom, Virtua Fighter 4, Theivius Raccoonus, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, SOCOM II: U.S. Navy Seals...

Even if this is a nationwide thing, YMMV on the titles too. I noticed a lot of titles in there that we've had sitting around for a while, and some (like Project: Snowblind and Bloodrayne 2, etc) that were almost just released.

Give it a shot. I'm opening tomorrow, I know I'm grabbing a couple ;]

still working in multimedia? pffft games/movies/music gets boring fast.

I got promoted to the IQ crew, along w/ a $2.25 raise. w00t.
 
I should be in the IQ Crew, I would care about my job then.

I put hours in over there when someone else in on vacation, etc. Not that I make any more money.
 
Was anyone able to get any of the games? I went to the local Circuit City and they did not have any of the ones listed and I was one of the first ones there.
 
Yeah... I got some games from that list. Bascially this is like a clearance, so your stores might be out of all those games. Best advice I can give you is just grab the games you like and ask a sales person to do a price check on them. Also if you want a particular game, bring that list with their product number, and ask the sales person if they can check stock at that and other stores in the area.

They should be putting these games into a "$9.99" bin in the games section, but some are still on the shelf.

In Hawthorne, CA store I got:

So the selection depends.

Might go out tomorrow, if they're open, to see if they have any other games I want.

Inappropriate4AT: The GTA Bundle is GTA3 + GTA Vice City. Nice deal for two games, $5 each! But most stores seems out of them. Kinda wierd they're selling Greatest Hits GTA3 and Vice City for $19.99 each. I wanted a GTA blunde, too.

SVC Chaos is pretty bad I think... The good one is Capcom vs SNK (made by Capcom). SVC is SNK version of the cross-over game.
 
I went to CC when it first opened this morning. The games were not separated at all. I dug through all the games in the Xbox section and found 5 I wanted: Spiderman 2, Amped 2, Manhunt, Spyro and Project: Snowblind. There must have been at least 40% of the games on the list available (especially sports games).
 
Hit my CC today, unfortunately no SVC Chaos. In our store they had a bin full of the $9.99 games, as well as a few leftovers on the shelf. I was surprised to see the GTA Bundle included 3 and Vice City. I decided not to pick it up while I was there, but I may go back tomorrow and grab it, $5 each doesn't seem too bad at all.
