Cingular currently offers 1000 night/weekend minutes with their $29.99 plans, but if you actually add one of those plans to your shopping cart and choose a phone, 3500 minutes show up as included. To prevent a possible bait-and-switch, I asked a B&M Cingular store rep if he would honor that promotion, and he agreed, giving me 300 anytime minutes on the Cingular Home plan, plus 3500 night/weekend for $30/month. I also added the wireless internet option, since they're offering it for free right now.

On the $30 plan, it is supposed to switch to 1000 minutes on 6/1. My understanding is that all other plans will still get the 3500 minutes.

I have never heard of the 1000 mins change.... will it affect existing customers?

New plans don't affect existing customers.
