Cingular Mot. V60 @ Staples (B+M) - Make up to $150 on after coupon, MIR + PM

Staples has the V60 for:

$289
-$140 staples rebate
-$120 cingular rebate with 2 year contract (add $40 to your cost with a 1 year contract)
----------------------------
$29
-$40 coupon off $200 purchase
-------------
+$10 for you

+$140 If you can pricematch it at Staples with buy.com $149 price YMMV

Plus you can get rollover minutes from cingular (say you get 600 min. and use only 400 min. the unused 200 rolls over until you use over 600 min. in a month or 12 months lapses) That in itself is a pretty hot deal.

Credit goes to coreynyc over at FW

Edit: B+M only AFAIK

I would post link to buy.com but depending on where you live cingular has the V60T or the V60GSM so you have to put your zip code in. Also staples online doesn't sell cells, it's B+M only. I should have said YMMV on the pricematching, but you can get at the least $10 out of it.

BVG definitely does not PM cell phones - found out much to my dismay when I tried to get paid $150 to get the Moto V60 with AT&T.... had to settle for getting it for free, which really chapped my hide! 🙂

Are you sure its buy.com and not bestbuy? I used this week's bestbuy circular to get the 110% pricematch on $149.

P.S. i was just paid >$100 to get a new phone. i love you

Ya, I called AMEX and confirmed it. No PM on cells and pagers. Chaps me in the worst way.

The thing that chaps me more is that some people are able to get dumb/uncaring Staples managers to approve the PM when logically you get the same price after rebates and then a better price with the coupons. Edit: (I'm jealous any suggestions to help me get it too? I bought it yesterday).

Whichever one gives you the $149 doesn't matter. If BB has it for $149 you are perfectly able to use them to do your PM. YMMV at Staples.

Crank- buy.com has the AT&T version for $99 if that helps you PM more effectively.

Appreciate the tip, but I bought it from Amazon, so no post purchase PM available.
Gotta settle for getting the darn thing for free.....OH how the HD forum has jaded me! :Q😀

nitzylpick:
i showed up to staples 10 minutes before they closed on a night when a relatively new manager was closing. Pestered by the only cashier in the store to wrap things up, basically all i had to do was flip to the proper page of the BB circular and point at the price and the manager-guy rung it up, lickity splits 🙂. the $40 off $200 coupon didn't work, however, because of the PM. Drat. 😀
