Cingular Extended?

Instead of seeing Cingular on my phone I sometimes see Cingular Extended. What does that mean?

I have Cingular also and only see that when outside their normal service area. 😀

i hate cingular. hope they rot in the depths of hell where they came from.

it means you are romaing, but if you are in our home area or on a national plan then you dont' pay anything

Here in chicago cingular gsm just strated and i get to roam on at&t all the time for free.
