Cingular will be having a buy one get one on 11/24 from 8am-12pm for any phone (yes pda's included).

New activations and people eligible for upgrades can take advantage of this offer. Normal rebate rules apply for both phones (so if the rebate requires a data plan, then both phones will have to have a data plan).

This should be nationwide and at all corporate stores.

They don't require a data plan I believe

Get them unlocked by Cingular.... resell @ $1200 for both

$39.99 Plan x12 Month = $479.98 Year + $400 Two 8525 + $35 Activation = $914.88 1st Year

$285.12 - $479.98 = $-194.86 Year 2

Damn, I just bought a Cingular Sync (Samsung A707) yesterday and my wife wants one too!

Oh well. The phone is great fwiw. I just hate how all of the carriers are locking down so many features of the phones these days.

your math is so good... but i think that if you have the plan for 39.99, it will be like around 45 include that taxes and goverment fees or so, plus the activation is 35 each phone. also when you buying the phones, you need to add taxes too. seems paying more than what you think. thanks

I orginally had fees in the math but I forgot to do the $400 for both phones.

To qualify for the $50 rebate:

"**Requires activation on a $39.99 or higher applicable unlimited data rate plan plus a $39.99 or higher voice plan."

You can always forgo the $50 rebate.
