Cingular/AT&T Ogo device

anybody have one of these Ogo mobile messaging devices?
I was wondering if it works exactly like a cellphone.. only available to be used within a AT&T service area and if you needed to pay anymore then the $18 fee afterwards on their site to use it...link

It's not a phone like a Sidekick, it's only an email device. Waste of money IMO.

well im not looking for something thats nessicary a phone at all i just want something that i can use to always get in touch via MSN,AIM,YAHOO messenger

I got it and it's not very good in AIM. It takes forever to sign on (even with a full signal) and the buddy list is seldom accurate. You also can't view away messages or profiles. When you IM someone there is a short delay but nothing major. For email (with yahoo) it seems to work pretty well. Overall I'm unimpressed and probably won't keep it.
