So my parents have this family talk plan that weve had for awhile, and i have this cheap phone ive had forever. Do any of you know if I can go a cingulair store and get a new one for free or really cheap? Id like some sort of flip phone

Sure, if you sign a 2 year contract.

Edit: If you go to Cingular's site, and sign in to your account (assuming you have one on their site, if not register one), and go to "My Phone" then go to "Upgrade Phone". You might find some more info in there. :)

you have to be the account holder to make any changes to the account. Either that or your dad has to add you to the account to be able to do that.

Since you are in contract it will be pretty hard to get a deal on a new phone. I know of a way to do it, but not if the account isnt in your name.
