Ultraviolet was actually much better then I expected, but I was reading stuff on the internet at the same time I watched it. Contrary to reviews I read, I am pretty sure I found a plot in there somewhere. Bottom line is that, yes it sucks, but I think people like to vilify it since it's an easy target. I'd say if you liked Aeon Flux, you'll probably like Ultraviolet.
The Omen is just boring. I was pretty much daydreaming and wishing it was over when I saw it. It seemed like there were many collective sighs of boredom in the theater. My friend who saw the original said it was pretty much verbatim.
