why do you have your VTT at 1.375v for ~ 2700MHz .
The reason my VTT is at 1.375 was because im currently downclocking from 180 Bclk and it wasent stable with less then about 1.36 vtt without going over 1.35 vcore on 180. So atm im going downwards on Bclk to find a suitable temperature with lower fan speeds. Likewise i will go down on VTT and Vcore. Hope to find a setting between 160-176 Bclk (as high as possible with a certain unknown temperature). Started overclocking 2 days ago.
Would also think my 6x2gb sticks will require the VTT to be higher? Seem to have picked that up somewhere.
Currently downed:
Vcore: 1.3
VTT / QPI/DRAM: 1.3
IOH: 1.18
(Thought here was; I think read somewhere that 1GPU should be 1.1 and the gtx 1070 is much stronger then the gpu's at the time most of the guides were written. Im not an expert, i like to learn by trying)
Max core temp;
Idle about 30c,
Full load about 77(72-80)c.
Which was about same with previous voltage listed above. Might have dropped 3c for dropping voltage about 0,6 on both vcore and vtt
This is a gaming rig which i doubt will reach full load that often, so im satisfied with the settings, but i want to be able to lower the fans so i might lower the cpu speed. Don't think im willing to buy a high-end cpu cooler as i have a decent one. And i like the fractal define xl black pearl altough i wish i went with something that has slightly more "aircontact" with the outside, not relying to much on the front air intake
Edit:
1.3 vcore and vtt was unstable. So atm downed Bclk to 175, gonna try with same voltage.
Idle: 30c
Full load: 70-78c
2 degress lower Bclk 1.76 -> 1.75
