It's a slow day at work before a holiday weekend.

Just spun up a VM with 24 cores on one of the bigger servers. It's not like anybody's using it.

I suspect it should be higher, but I'll have to tinker with CPU settings on the VM some more.

Update

2x Xeon E5-2696 v2 ( 12 core -48 HT) Bus Speed OC to 114 Mhz
3460 CB

This confuses me. Everywhere I've looked it says you cannot overclock 2011 xeons at all. Yet all the records for cinebench on various sites are held by overclocked CPUs! How do you overclock? Do you have the Z9PE-D8?

Here is my main FX system. I think I need a few more fans before I got for the 4.8GHz.

That's good for that voltage. Do you have a fan dedicated to blowing air across the mobo's vrms? It really helps lower the minimum voltage needed for stable OC's with and FX.

I don't yet. Sadly when I built this system(Corsair Carbide 300R case) I thought I would have more space available but the system is fairly cramped. However I Still have space for two side fans. My current cooler is awesome though(H100i).

Just a piddly little Corsair H80i. lol

This case does have room for a 2x120 radiator though, after I start subjecting it to lengthy encoding tasks we'll see if I need to make a move. Still runs cooler than my W3520@4.45GHz though...that thing was a furnace.

I figured was AIO.. I can't encode/render at 204, but I'm happy at 194. It does a lot of work quickly :)

I'll probably settle in for about 4.6GHz for daily duty, needs way less voltage down there. Besides this is my 6 year old son's pc (or so he says), I don't think he'll need 4.9GHz for Call of Duty and Lego Superheros. ;)
I may throw my Classifieds in here for a 3DMark run at some point though. GTX760SC right now.

nice score but what this shows me is the scaling is horrible on this application past 12 cores.

I was expecting a much larger jump in scores
