wow, is it stable at 4.1?
Got me. I did it for an hour, then back to stock overnight (in a SETI race and overnight did not want it to shut down or reboot)
When I get time to test, I will see what the 24/7/365@100% speed is, but amazed so far.

yeah these first results are really promising... even more with these no specific coolers for TR

Seems like threadripper is literally just 2 ryzen 1600x and 1800x on one cpu.

Why people say top 2% when AMD slide says 5%?
It's unclear which number is correct.
Per-core overclocking is not available on Threadripper, and won’t be. Overclocking can be done in core pairs, with OC expectations similar to Ryzen. AMD noted that the Threadripper CPUs consist of the top 5% of presorted Ryzen dies (though later changed this number to 2%, depending on who was talking).
