Cigarette recommendation for a non-smoker?

Hi, I'd like to start smoking. I'm tired of not being able to light up a smoke and socialize outside buildings with fellow smokers. I think smoking would be a nice ice breaker. Can somebody recommend a good smoke? I watch a lot of autoracing and Marlboro is always sponsoring events. Also, Lucky Strike seems to have a cool logo, so I might want to try a pack of those. On the other hand, as a kid I grew up on Joe Camel, and for some reason, I'm unconsciously drawn to his brand. Here are my requirements. I'd like a brand that will get me hooked as fast as possible and allow me to smoke, say 2-3 packs a day. They must make me look manly, and hopefully they'd be too strong for everybody else - I don't want people bumming cigarettes off me all the time. If I can find some without a filter, I think it would be even better. I'd like to get the full pleasure of the cigarette. Thank you in advance

Good point. But I assume smoking is like drinking. I suppose the cigarettes will be chasers to the main event of cigar smoking. Add that to the list of requirements.

Oooh, a chance to post what I think of smoking. Okay, all my friends who come here and also smoke, do not scroll down.


























































I understand that at an early age for whatever reason - rebellion, not knowing any better, peer pressure - you might have started smoking. But you're an adult now. The threats that come from smoking are well documented. Is your reason for smoking that:

A) You're spineless and have no self-control
B) You're an idiot and uninformed/don't care about its effects
C) Simply hoping medical science comes up with a miracle anti-smoking pill in a few years?

I don't care how addictive it's proven to be. It's not all-consuming, and you're a human being. Get off your ass and beat the cravings. In the meantime I will wholly support to fight to ban smoking wherever possible, except your own home, where you may breathe smoke into the faces of your children all you please. In short, some part of me finds you very pathetic.

Seriously, you can try clove cigarettes. They aren't addictive like tobacco and actually smell good.
