cigar humidor question

I had this same question when I got my humidor in the mail. I ordered some special on hot deals that came with 8 cigars and a humidor. But there were no instructions for the humidor. So I looked online and it said to moisten the interior wood and put water in the humidor and let it sit for 24 hours. I did just this and I felt/saw no difference. And every picture I saw online showed the cigars without the plastic, so thats what I did.

it depends whether you want the flavors to blend or not. If you have a bunch of different types of somewhat cheap cigars, then my advice would be to leave them in the wrapper. Also, if you are new to operating a humidor, you should probably leave them in the wrapper because cigars can start to mold if there is a little too much humidity, and if that happens, it will spread to all the cigars, and even the inside of the humidor if they are outside the wrapper.
