The prices at Newegg seem surprisingly low for these little barebones systems. Particularly with no shipping charge.

Are these any good? They seem like they'd be handy little things for someone who just wants to do basic office work and web browsing. Combined with an LCD monitor they wouldn't take up much desktop space.

wow, sometimes stuff is priced so low i can only imagine that it is total junk.

it would be great if i was wrong though, i would gladly pay that price for a decent sff pc chassis

I have the 968 version which has the 533FSB and it works great for me. If you can actually get one for that price and a 400FSB P4 or Celeron, it would work fine for your purposes.

Oh well, I should have ordered it instead of asking about it. It was $89 yesterday when I asked and $159 now. But at $89 it did sound too good to be true. Indecisive folks like me will never be happy. When it's $89 we figure, as said above, that it must be junk so we don't buy it. When it goes to $159 we don't want to pay practically double what we could have gotten it for yesterday.

I feel the exact same way. If I realized how underpriced these were this morning, I would have ordered one
