I was listening to the radio this morning and I guess Chuy's is under investigation as to how the minors got alcohol in the first place. I guess the Texas Department of Substances (or words to that effect) is going to be sending undercover agents over to Chuy's.

Keep in mind THIS IS BAD for them. Very bad. Austin is the home to the nation's largest University and you can sure as hell bet those college students will be going elsewhere to drink from now on. Trust me...probably over half their customers at any given time are students and they will be drinking. The management normally turns it's head because if you don't have a student consumer base in a place like that, you're not going to be staying around long.

Not all students are under 21. It's generally the upperclassmen that are 21 and older, though.

Elemental007:

Keep in mind that Austin has a million people for a population. The 50,000 some-odd students that attend the University of Texas are but a drop in the bucket. Austin is a partying, drinking town, and I doubt that Chuy's serves minors all that much, if at all. They don't have the need.

Their food sucks anyway... :)

Well,

I never heard of Chuy's, but I will tell you this.

When Chuy's calls 911 to report a suspected underage drinker, they went over the limit.

911 is for emergencies. Not publicity stunts, which this whole thing was. I really feel bad for Jenna, and the other Bush sister, if they can expect four years of this kind of treatment.
