The entire Church was not set ablaze, it looks to be very contained within a small part. Hopefully it will not do any severe damage, or HEADS WILL ROLL- to say the absolute least. :|

I say we repay the favor by paying the Al-Aqsa Mosque a little visit.
I?m starting to think the Crusaders were on to something. :(

I'm so sick of this. Let it burn. Maybe if we just let it run it's course, things will balance out. It seems as though no matter what the US or the UN tries to do to improve the situation, someone from either side of the conflict goes and frcks it up. It's about time that we give up. Niether side is willing to negotiate fully. Niether side is willing to bend. The truth is that there are too many hidden agenda's that we, the common folk of the countries, have no clue of that stand in the way. Things will never change. No one is willing to let them.

I may be off on it, but it is so frustrating to listen to all this terror and sadness that will not cease. I'm sure you all understand. Thanks for the rant space.

The CNN guy there is saying that the IDF tried to storm the place. He says the Palestinians didn't have anything to start the fire with. (?). How old is that Church? 1600-1700 years old I think.

<< He says the Palestinians didn't have anything to start the fire with. >>

And he would KNOW this how? Two hundred armed gunmen, and they CAN'T start a fire between all of them? Yeah, right!
And that is why I don't watch CNN anymore.

True, CNN is the most biased news channel I have ever seen.

I did read your entire post- your first remarks are simply uncalled for. Do you really want one of the most holiest sites for all Christians to BURN? If so, I stand by my remark. If not, I suggest you edit your post and watch what you type.

It's because of "holy sites" that we are in this conflict. How many more people have to die just because of one persons presence in a certain area?

I feel the exact same way- they were even letting one of their corrospondants/phone interviewees talk about how Christianity is losing followers in a 'historic exodus' because of this and everything these days. That wasn't needed! Totally uncalled for as well. I hate CNN, but it's all I can get here at school- I'm so petitioning for FOX News Channel for next semester...

MSNBC just said it "could've" been started by the flares Israeli soldiers shot out to light the area.

The Palestinains inside the Church started the fire to throw down on armed personel carriers manned by Isrealis,or so it was just said on the CNN news to Wolf Blitzer.

They are probably running out of bullets, and intend to use whatever else they have available. You certainly don't think the Palestinians give a crap about a Christian Church, do you? If it will serve their purpose to destroy it, they will. If it serves their porpose to die trying, they will.

This is in answer to the release of Yassar Arafat today. Factions in Palestine just will not listen to Yasser, and there isn't much short of all out war with these terrorists that will serve justice to the world at large.

I give Yassar two weeks to reign in the terrorism , or we should commit troops to assist Israel in cleaning out the terrorists in all the land up to the bordars of Jordan, Egypt, ans Syria. But Arafat will probably spend the next two weeks druming up support for a fatwa against the US and Israel, and getting the Palestinians loaded with belly bombs to walk into pizzarias

Yaasar is talking now. CYA;)

(CNN) And now we're watching Arafat's lazy butt sit in a chair and yelling at reporters in Arabic with his thugs surrounding him... yeah this is informative...

Fire has been extinguished.

CNN's letting that Palestinian Saeb Ekhrat guy blather on and on was a bit uncalled for. Funny how the reporter on the scene had to provide at least some balance to the story, while the commentator just bent over and took it. Kind of makes you wish O'Reilly was covering this one..

Yes, CNN blows chunks, but the only thing AOL/TW cares about is that CNN's the channel we're all watching...
