The main thing about Steven Seagal is he doesn't usually fight people by kicking them a hundred times and punching them a hundred times. He waits until you kick him, then he grabs your leg and breaks it or grabs your arm and throws you through a window. It's totally different than most standard fighting styles.

Well, from what I can find, he has only really taken Aikido, which is a totally defensive martial art. I would assume he incorporates that into the fights scenes.

No such thing as a defensive or offensive martial art. All arts are both and neither. Sounds goofy, but as most people know the best defense is a good offense and vice versa.
Saying that he 'only really' taken aikido implies that it is some sort of ghetto art.

I don't have much respect for Steven Seagal as a person but I respect aikido.

Well, you could use Aikido offensivly, but it would go against the philiosphy of the art. And I said "only taken Aikido" because Norris has taken multiple, not as a putdown to Aikido.
