Who was your favorite in this battle of the 80s? I got Showbiz!!!! So much better, and cooler!!!

It’s the same damn thing for anyone born in the late 70s/80s. Showbiz = Midwest and South and Chuck E = Both Coasts + Canada. Actually I think all the former Showbiz places are Chuck Es now.

I can’t recall ever visiting a Showbiz back in my youth, but as I understand it they had better animatronic shows and newer games than Chuck Es up until the mid 90s.

They were fierce competitors UNCjigga, and I think Chuck E Cheese sued Showbiz (which was kicking their butts in performance) and in the settlement Chuck E Cheese basically bought out Showbiz. So then they all became Chuck E Cheeses. Showbiz had way better Animation, much better pizza, and was all-around just cooler.

This is a tough choice.... i went to both places as a kid... i went to the original winchester Pizza Time Theater back in 77'... but i liked showbiz a lot more, so id say, Showbiz Pizza Place

Actually, it was the other way around... Showbiz Pizza Place Inc bought out the bankrupt Pizza Time Theater Inc in 1984, and after the merge, named themselves Showbiz Pizza Time Inc

Also, never heard of Show Time but I grew up around the corner from a Bullwinkle's and that was way better than the Chuckster's.

I grew up with Showbiz, and their pizza was a LOT better. Like Dollar Store versus Macys better.
Also their video games were better.
