Chuck E. Cheese / Party rooms

Throwing a small party for kids 4-6.. are these places any good in general ?

basically to run around and do stuff without destroying your own home 🙂

or do you guys have other recommendation ?

I just know they have ridiculously overpriced pizza. Beer's kinda cheap there though. Plus, they have arcade which should occupy their time...

Cost me $300 to throw my kids 5th birthday with about 20 other kids.

Was great because everyone had a good time and I didn't have to clean up anything afterward. Chuck E. Cheese took care of everything, setup, food, the party, and the cleanup. Well worth it to not have to have 20 kids at my house.

Did that $300 buy you a finite amount of food for the kids, or was it an "all you can eat" deal?

Just watch out for the deadbeat parents who get into fights because you kid threw a ball at their kid or something. We always hear about the fights that break out at Chuck E Cheese because of dumbass, retarded parents.

Finite amount of food. We ordered several large pizzas thats extra. Though they do get cake and drinks included, and about $5 worth of tokens per kid.

Trust me, the kids have a great time, and its not nearly as stressful as trying to run something on your own.

:music: you're the birthday... you're the birthday... you're the birthday boy or girl.... :music:

I spent about the same $ for a CC birthday, the kids all had a great time and that is what it is all about, them.

My son's b-day was about $180 for about 15 kids. Just make sure to reserve online and bring your own cake. You get "discounts" for those (free tokens or whatever).
The actual host we had did pretty good too.
