<< Go-fast goodies on the PT Turbo include a Getrag 5-speed manual transmission, a stiffer sport suspension, 4-wheel ABS, 17-inch, 5-spoke alloy wheels, sport bucket seats, chrome-tipped performance exhaust and revised front and rear body fascias. A 4-speed automatic transmission with a manual mode is an option. >>

hmmmm... 😉

I'm sure chrome helps the "go fast" particles get out of the car. 😀

<< The PT Turbo heads to dealerships this fall with a power-boosting turbocharger and engine modifications that rev up 215 horsepower compared to 150 in standard models. The 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder power plant also manages an impressive 245 foot-pounds of torque. >>

Ok, who can explain people's desire to blatently mix up different types of units? It logically doesn't make sense, but people keep on doing it just because.

Car mfc's used to use CID(Cubic Inch Displacement), but recently started quoting liters for whatever reason. They should have stayed where it was before or changed it all the way instead of being half assed and change just one unit.

i'm sure you would prefer a civic

It looks pretty cool.. I woudn't mind it as a regular driver, but I prefer something like Intrepid. I like the efficinecy of 4cyl, power of V8, but I can't have both at the same time and I opt for six cylinder engines.

While I'm sure this will be a boost to PT sales, I just don't like the car. The insides are cramped and the position of the drivers seat makes one feel as if they are leaning forward the whole time. The PT may look nice on the outside and may be fast now, but the inside just doesn't cut it for me.

I can't stand the Intrepid. It's too damn big, heavy and awkard to drive. The damn thing is LONGER than our friggen Toyota Highlander SUV by one and half feet (19" to be exact) and wider by 3 inches. They both get about the same gas mileage with the top V6 engine option (18/26 Intrepid, 19/23 Highlander). And people complain about SUV's

no, not really, riced cars dont appeal to me either.. just like a nice grand prix... they are nice

<< Its still a PT Cruiser. >>

that sums it up... no matter what they do--- its not going to change the fact that i dont like it.

To all those who hate the looks: no one cares.

Moving on, kickass! These things will move like hotcakes (not as much as the original though IMO) and they'll kick a little ass. I'm also very glad to see Chrysler bring back some turbo models! Not only are these things gonna move, but they're gonna be nice and inexpensive 🙂 It'll be funny to see a stock PT kick some RSX / V-Spec ass 😀

Hopefully with all these people down on the PT so much the waiting line won't be too long.

I tried to get one a year or so ago and it was ridiculous. The wait was so long and the dealer markup so big we ended up going elsewhere.
